TRUCK PROTECTION PLANS

This is a list of protection plans we can offer in the event that your own insurance doesn't cover truck rentals. You can purchase plans through your Penske rep or when you pick up. For more info, ask us.

LIMITED DAMAGE WAIVER

Limited Damage Waiver relieves you of your financial responsibility should any loss or damage occur to the truck or towing equipment, no matter who's at fault. For complete coverage details and rates, contact your Penske representative.

$20.00 / day *

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

This offers accidental death and medical coverage to the driver of the truck and your truck's passengers in excess of your personal insurance coverage.

$20.00 / day *

SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE

This plan protects you against claims made by third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while operating your Penske rental truck. Doesn't cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental.

CARGO INSURANCE

This plan covers possessions from loss or damage due to accidents or natural disasters while inside your rental truck, from the time they're loaded until they're unloaded.

TOWING INSURANCE

This plan covers protection against collision damage for a vehicle while attached to, towed by or detached from your rented Penske truck. It also covers a vehicle while being loaded onto, transported by or unloaded from a Penske tow dolly or carrier.

* Prices quoted above are for LOCAL rentals. Prices vary, however, for One-Way rentals, and could be anywhere from between $30 to $150 / day depending upon how many days you wish to rent the truck and where you're going to. Insurance is not REQUIRED to rent a truck, but is, of course, recommended.
