Welcome to the Alachua County Weather Information Network (ACWIN)!

These lists are for the distribution of weather-related bulletins only. No posting/discussions allowed.

The ACWIN lists were created to aid in the dissemination of weather-related bulletins and announcements to the public free of charge as a public service. The ACWIN-FL listgroups cater to residents of the Alachua County area.

These lists are hosted by the University of Florida's UF Listserv, with our much grateful thanks. (Please see our Kudos & Acknowledgements page!)

The ACWIN-FL listgroups are divided up first according to message type: a general weather related group, a severe weather related group, and a civil bulletins group. Each group contains a number of "topics" to choose from - each "topic" relating to a specific bulletin that is distributed by the NWS or other related weather agencies. In this way, these listgroups are CUSTOMIZEABLE in that you can pick and CHOOSE which bulletins you would like to receive in your inbox.

A list of all of the listgroups that we have is available below. To view further information about any particular listgroup, including how to subscribe to that listgroup, and how to turn each topic (bulletin) within it on or off, please click on the list name.

COMMENTS REGARDING THESE LISTS

We welcome your comments and suggestions about the ACWIN listgroups. Please send your comments to the list owner at: acwin@alachuaskywarn.org.
