CENTRAL WALTON AND SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM
EDT/1145 PM CDT/...

At 1207 AM EDT/1107 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southwest of
Vernon to near Tyndall Air Force Base to 7 miles west of Wewahitchka.
Movement was south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Panama City, Lynn Haven, Panama City Beach, Callaway, Port St. Joe,
Springfield, Mexico Beach, Hiland Park, Tyndall Air Force Base, White
City, Live Oak, Parker, Ebro, Allanton, Dirego Park, College Station,
West Panama City, Overstreet, Holmes Valley, and Millers Ferry.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
