.The combination of breezy post-frontal northerly winds,
critically low humidities, and dry to very dry fuels with ongoing
drought conditions could make for dangerous fire weather
conditions on Wednesday.

8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ THIS EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY
FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA, SOUTHWEST GEORGIA, THE FL PANHANDLE,
PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA AND PORTIONS OF THE FL BIG
BEND...

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon EDT /11 AM CDT/ today to
8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no
longer in effect.

* WIND...North around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 18 to 30 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
