...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM EDT THIS
EVENING FOR LOW HUMIDITY, BREEZY WINDS, AND CRITICALLY DRY FUELS
FOR SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND NORTHEAST FLORIDA...

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Red
Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 7 PM EDT this
evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Southeast Georgia and northeast Florida.

* TIMING... Wednesday afternoon and evening.

* WINDS...Westerly around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...20-30 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...In the mid 70s to mid 80s.

* LIGHTNING... Not expected.

* IMPACTS...wildfires can grow quickly under these conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
