A significant winter storm is underway on the mountain as a strong front continues to build in out of the east with heavy snow and gusty winds. Heavy bands of snow will continue tonight through Wednesday morning as the front stalls over the mountain with storm total snow totals around 1-2 feet above base camp with around 6-12 inches at base camp. The front is expected to weaken and begin to slowly shift west later in the day Wednesday, allowing for gradually improving conditions later in the day into Wednesday night as scattered snow showers continue through Thursday. && .FORECAST FOR 7000 FOOT BASE CAMP...
