From Monday, May 5th through Wednesday, May 7th, our office will be conducting a required update to the Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS), our main work system at NWS Jacksonville. During this upgrade, no interruptions are expected to our core services, including forecast products and weather watches, warnings, and advisories.
