NEW INFORMATION --------------- * CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS: - All watches and warnings have been canceled * CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS: - None * STORM INFORMATION: - About 210 miles north of Daytona Beach FL - 32.2N 81.7W - Storm Intensity 70 mph - Movement Northeast or 35 degrees at 21 mph SITUATION OVERVIEW ------------------ Tropical Storm Idalia continues to weaken as it moves across Southeast Georgia and farther away from East Central Florida. All Tropical Storm Warnings have been discontinued for all East Central Florida land and marine areas. A wind advisory is in effect for all land areas through 7 PM this evening. As Idalia continues to the northeast, local conditions will continue to improve. However, showers and squalls continue to move from west to east across Central Florida. Gusty winds 35 to 45 mph and brief torrential rainfall will remain the primary threats through this evening. High seas, rough surf, and life-threatening rip currents are expected through tonight. POTENTIAL IMPACTS ----------------- * WIND: Gusty winds up 45 mph are possible this evening, and a wind advisory remains in effect until 7 PM.
