.Discussion...
A strong cold front will move through the Keys today leading to
very windy conditions, especially this afternoon and evening along
the Island Chain. Winds will gradually slacken overnight as high
pressure moves in behind the front. A collapse in the pressure
gradient on Friday will lead to rapidly slackening breezes for the
afternoon. Much cooler, drier, and less humid air is expected to
infiltrate the Keys for tonight and Friday. High moisture remains
in place across the area today keeping rain chances well above
normal. The front is expected to sweep out any residual moisture
by late today/tonight leading to nil rain chances. Min RH values
are expected to be in the mid 60s percent today and near 50
percent for Friday with good RH recovery overnight to near 90
percent.
