Winds around 10 mph become easterly to southeasterly Friday morning, then turn northwesterly in the afternoon as a low pressure system passes to our south. Dispersions both days will be poor for most of the area given the lighter winds and low mixing heights. A few light showers are possible across the area during the day Friday, but this will likely not amount to a wetting rain. Dispersions become very high on Saturday as northwesterly transport winds of 30-40 mph are expected with high mixing heights near 6,000 ft. Even surface winds will be around 20-25 mph with gusts of 30-40 mph. RH values will be in the mid-20s to mid-30s as well, resulting in elevated fire concerns for Saturday. While winds will not be as strong on Sunday, lower RHs can be expected so it's possible elevated fire weather concerns stick around during the afternoon.
