Rain chances will return to near normal today as a trough axis begins
to shift to the east of the area. This will cause 20ft winds to shift to the
north to northwest around 5 to 8 mph today, light and variable at times during
the afternoon. MinRH values will range from the mid to upper 70s along
the Keys through the end of the work week. A weak cold front will pass
through the area on Friday, stalling across the Straits of Florida. This
may allow minRH values to fall into the upper 60s to lower 70s in some
spots along the Island Chain Saturday afternoon as drier air arrives in the
wake of the front. A wet pattern and southerly flow is forecast to return
by early next week as the front lifts to the north in response to another
deepening trough axis over the Gulf.
