Strong Canadian high pressure over the central North Atlantic
will meander for several days. This will continue to promote
moderate to fresh easterly breezes through much of the week.
Moisture undulations around the high will result in episodic
showers and potential thunderstorms, especially today and tonight.
Some periods may be wetter than others. Min RH values will be in
the mid 60s percent today and Tuesday with good RH recovery into
the mid 80s percent overnight. Moderate drought conditions will
persist for the entire island chain. Even though showers are in
the forecast over the next several days, it is not expected to be
nearly enough to dent the drought conditions.
