The heat will be hazardous to those outdoors today and Tuesday with highs in the mid-90s to around 100 degrees and heat index values well into the triple digits. The seabreeze today will remain pinned closer to the coast but should manage to focus scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Meanwhile, a complex of showers and storms and accompanying outflow boundary is expected to move Southeastward across much of the region this afternoon and evening, especially from the Flint and Apalachicola Rivers westward. Erratic and gusty winds are likely in the vicinity of any storms/ outflow boundaries. High dispersion is also expected in the I-10 corridor today. On Tuesday, more limited shower and thunderstorm activity is expected to remain south of I-10 due to the seabreeze being pinned closer to the coast. High dispersion is possible on Tuesday in Southeast Alabama and the Eastern FL Panhandle. Transport winds will be out of the Northwest today and West-Northwest Tuesday.
