.Discussion...
A plume of Saharan Air Layer (SAL) will gradually move in from
the east today. This will act to suppress our rain chances through
at least Tuesday night. As this plume moves further to the west
and slowly scours out, we could see somewhat better moisture
returning Wednesday. Despite the drier air associated with SALs,
the boundary layer will continue to support afternoon min RH in
the 60s and overnight recoveries in the 80 percentile. Lastly,
southeast winds will be a little stronger today, allowing
dispersion indices to return into the poor to fair category.
