Drier air has been slow to filter in behind a previous cold front
passage, but rain chances for rain along the island chain will
diminish today as activity continues well south of the Keys. The
best chance for any showers to cross the Keys will be during the
morning today, but chances for thunderstorms are virtually
nonexistent. The drier air will lead to minimum RH values between
60 and 65 percent over the next couple of days, but rebound to
near 80 percent overnight. Fresh northeasterly breezes in the
lower levels will begin to gradually slacken tonight as the
gradient across the area loosens.
