Expansive and strong high pressure across the North Atlantic will
continue to dominate the pattern through at least the first half
of the weekend. The western side of this ridge stretches
southwestward into Florida and the Gulf. This continue to promote
moderate to fresh breezes at least through Saturday evening.
Moisture undulations around the high will result in episodic
showers through Saturday. Some periods may be wetter than others.
Min RH values will be in the mid 60s percent today and Friday with
good RH recovery into the upper 80s percent overnight. Moderate
drought conditions will persist for the entire island chain. Even
though showers are in the forecast over the next several days, it
is not expected to be nearly enough to dent the drought
conditions.
