Moisture has increased substantially across the area, and rain and
thunder chances will be at their peak today. However, chances for
rain will trend slightly downward after today due to some
relatively drier air near the surface combined with a lack of any
meaningful lift. Even without showers, minimum relative humidity
values during the day will be close to 70 percent, and will see
excellent recovery to near 100 percent overnight. Winds in the
lowest levels of the atmosphere will remain light to gentle, but
any stronger showers and thunderstorms will result in periodic
gusty and erratic winds.
