The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a
Fire Warning at the request of Texas A&M Forest Service for Wichita
County until at least 700 PM CDT.

* AT 459 PM CDT, a dangerous wildfire was located a half mile
  northeast of Iowa Park near Bell Road, moving rapidly north-
  northwest at 1 to 3 mph.

* Areas impacted... The north side of Iowa Park, generally north of
  U.S. Highway 287...and rural areas north of town.

* Additional Information...Smoke and fire will present a threat to
  life and property along and north of U.S. Highway 287.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be prepared to evacuate quickly if requested and follow all safety
instructions from local emergency management officials. Do not drive
into smoke.

Firefighters and incident responders should anticipate extreme fire
behavior including wind-driven runs, torching, and spot fires.
Dangerous fire behavior may exceed traditional offensive suppression
tactics and require immediate actions to protect life and property.
