...HAZARDOUS MATERIAL INCIDENT IN NEWTON COUNTY AR...

The following message is transmitted at the request of the
Jasper Fire Department and Emergency Management.

There is an incident resulting in a hazardous material with
explosion potential. The Jasper Fire Department and Emergency
Management recommend the evacuation of all residents within one
half mile at the intersection of Highway 7 and Gumspring Road,
which is approximately five miles south of Jasper, Arkansas.
Highway 7 is currently shut down at this time by law enforcement.

This is an ongoing incident with no estimated time of resolution.
