Thunderstorms appear unlikely across the contiguous United States
tonight.

...Discussion...
With an upper trough/low continuing to move northeast off the coast
of southern New England tonight, the potential for thunderstorms
across the Northeast has diminished. Farther west, an upper trough
will amplify over the Pacific Northwest through early Monday
morning. Cooling mid-level temperatures may support very weak
elevated instability along the immediate coast of WA/OR, but the
potential for lightning with low-topped showers still appears quite
limited. Across the remainder of the CONUS, dry and/or stable
conditions will preclude thunderstorms through the remainder of the
period.
